Lia Rumma Gallery in Milan presents a solo exhibition curated by the Ettore Spalletti Foundation, exploring the artist’s unique fusion of painting, sculpture, and dialogue with classical art masters. Spanning three floors,the show relies on essential geometries and "atmospheric" color to transform the gallery's space: from the ground floor featuring weightless forms and the ephemeral pigment breath of Contatto (1976), to the first floor's twilight mood marked by Davanzale, oro (2000) and Leggio (1990), through to the second floor’s perceptual harmony led by Quartetto indivisibile (1992) and light-filled alabaster works beneath the skylight.

Fine Comune is an exhibition by Nomade, with creative direction by Ultrapresent Studio, presented at the Lake Como Design Festival inside the former Church of Santa Caterina. Reinterpreting the concept of boundary (con-finis) not as a barrier but as a point of contact and shared space,the installation transforms the 17th-century building into a welcoming, communal environment. The display features concrete and metal artworks by Luca Monterastelli (Galleria Lia Rumma), collective seating from the Free System line by Acerbis, collectible design pieces by Movimento Gallery, and artisan rugs by cc-tapis.

Set within the permanent collection display of the Museo del Novecento in Milan and designed as a cross-disciplinary in-depth program conducted in close collaboration with artist archives and foundations, the project connects masterpieces, historical materials, and period documentation. The exhibition unfolds across three distinct sections: a monographic room explores writing and poetic verse in Vincenzo Agnetti’s late practice as a generative force capable of transforming reality, featuring Feltri, Photo-graffie, and the unreleased Lucernario; a dedicated section on Enrico Castellani reconstructs over forty years of research into shaped, relief canvases that move beyond traditional painting to engage directly with light and space; a third focus examines Milan’s role as a creative laboratory during the 1960s and 1970s through the work of Valerio Adami, Alik Cavaliere, Lucio Del Pezzo, Bobo Piccoli, and Emilio Tadini, starting from the historic legacy of Studio Marconi and their response to mass media. Strengthening the deep bond between civic institutions, archival research, and the network of private galleries that shaped postwar Milanese art history, the project also incorporates a valuable collaboration with Galleria Lia Rumma, presenting the public with a cohesive and multifaceted portrait of contemporary artistic culture.

Bienal Del Agua: An alliance between art, society, and commitment. Under the evocative theme “The Traces of Water” the biennial unfolds as an open and welcoming encounter within the worlds of art and culture, built around an interdisciplinary project that brings together Arts, Science, and Technology. This interdisciplinary approach expresses excellence in creativity across multiple fields—painting, public sculpture, installations, performances, photography, video, and technology—moving beyond rigid museographic conventions to engage with the city and its diverse audiences and social sectors. Activities take place in public and private spaces, as well as in symbolic and institutional sites. Water is approached not only as a natural resource or environmental element, but as an anthropological symbol, cultural memory, technological structure, spiritual resonance, and a contemporary ethical challenge—within the framework of a new humanism that calls for rethinking the relationship between humanity, nature, and innovation.

Following a major restoration, Ettore Spalletti’s Fountain in the square in front of the Pescara Courthouse has been returned to the public. Inaugurated in 2004, the work is one of the city’s most significant examples of contemporary public art: a 15 x 9 metre ellipse made of Zimbabwean black granite, where a thin layer of water reflects the sky, light, and surrounding architecture. The fountain embodies Spalletti’s exploration of the relationship between colour, form, and space through the interplay of black, blue, and light. Its shape recalls the “Disegno” motif that runs throughout the artist’s practice, while a pink onyx element introduces a further poetic and contemplative dimension.

Gli Anni. Capitolo 3 is an ongoing exhibition project exploring the history of art in Naples from the late twentieth century to the present. The Madre Museum's collection is presented alongside major public and private collections, bringing together key works that reflect significant artistic moments and developments in the region. Inspired by Annie Ernaux's novel The Years, the project views artworks as repositories of collective memory, preserving not only artistic research but also the historical and cultural contexts in which they were created. Like memory itself, the exhibition unfolds through interconnected episodes rather than a linear chronology, with its third chapter expanding across several spaces of the museum, from the entrance to the second floor.
