The Prix Pictet is one of the world’s leading awards dedicated to photography and sustainability. Founded in 2008 by the Pictet Group, the prize aims to draw global attention to the key issue of sustainability through the power of photography. Each edition of the Prix Pictet is built around a theme related to sustainability; the current cycle, the 11th, is titled Storm.

This exhibition, Prix Pictet: Storm, presents works by twelve outstanding photographers shortlisted for the 11th cycle, including the winner, Alfredo Jaar. Their compelling works explore the theme from multiple perspectives, addressing some of the most urgent challenges of our time—particularly the accelerating climate crisis and its impact on the environment and society.

Each of the shortlisted photographers offers a powerful narrative. Some works evoke a sense of impending crisis, while others suggest the possibility of hope. Together, these images prompt reflection on our role as stewards of the planet and illuminate the critical issues of global sustainability, the central concern of the Prix Pictet since its inception in 2008.
