At SCAI Piramide, Alfredo Jaar transforms the gallery into a space of critical reflection, presenting works that confront global crises and the limits of representation. His neon piece Tonight No Poetry Will Serve (2023/2025) glows with urgent clarity, questioning how language can respond to catastrophe. In 1+1+1+1 (2025), four black frames—empty, recursive, and reflective—place the act of viewing within an ethical and cognitive responsibility, inviting the viewer to consider their position in relation to what is seen.

Through these works, Jaar distills political and social catastrophe into minimalist forms that expose hidden structures of power, showing how art can make visible the conditions under which we perceive and understand the world.
